Good point Gennaro. I think the key here is that the company has to have an economic incentive to want to share the incremental value from their best users with their overall population. The most straightforward reason is that the improving the value to their overall population can engage and retain users who can one day become the power users. That creates a virtuous cycle where everyone benefits, not just the top users.
